Available to order now - the new AlkaStream water filter. This revolutionary filter recently launched in the US and Australia, is now available in the UK. The AlkaStream contains 8 levels of filtration to remove unwanted chemicals, organic contaminants and heavy metals from your tap water. It then adds more than 70 beneficial trace elements, providing the optimum alkaline drinking water with a pH of up to 9.5. 


It also significantly reduces the ORP of the water, creating a fantastic source of anti-oxidants. These anti-oxidants (in the form of negative hydrogen ions), attach themselves to the free radicals and toxins in your body to simply flush them out.  In addition, the AlkaStream reduces the size of the water molecules, allowing your body to absorb them more easily. The result: increased hydration and higher energy levels. 

Really simple to install, the AlkaStream sits elegantly on your countertop and attaches to your kitchen tap using a diverter valve supplied.

The AlkaStream is very economical to run, only requiring a new filter approximately every 6 months to maintain it’s full ORP and alkalinity levels, with options for soft or hard water areas.

HOW IT WORKS


The AlkaStream’s unique 8 layer filtration system uses a process based upon the scientifically proven research of Dr. Hidemitsu Hayashi, Director of the Water Institute of Japan.

8. Neodymium Magnenetic Field: This stabilizes the IONIC charge and structure (reduced molecular size) of the water.

7. Catalytic Carbon and KDF: Improves the final taste and further remove non-beneficial trace elements.

6. Trace Minerals and Far Infrared ceramics: Adds over 70 beneficial trace elements.

5. Energizing Media: Creates anti-oxidants and structures the water molecules to increase hydration.

4. Activated carbon with Magnesium and KDF: Filters out any heavy metals like lead and mercury. Also reduces the ORP of the water creating the anti oxidant ions to soak up toxins and free radicals from your body.

3. Catalytic Carbon: Filters out volatile organic compounds, pesticides, Trihalomethanes, and Chlorine , improving the taste and smell of the water while reducing the potential danger of any carcinogens. 

2. NSF approved Ion Exchange Media: Decreases the level of total dissolved solids including calcium carbonate, thus removing the lime scale problem sometimes associated with water ionisers in the UK.  The hard water filter with the ion exchange media also absorbs fluoride.

The hard water filter option uses an ion exchange resin, which absorbs chemicals and certain minerals found in your tap water, specifically intended in this application to reduce fluoride and calcium. 

The water is thereby freed of harmful chemicals, and has a reduced amount of total dissolved solids (TDS) thus making the water “softer” 

Please be aware that the ion exchange technology absorbs fluoride until it reaches the point where it cannot hold any more, whereupon it starts to release fluoride back into the water. We therefore recommend changing the filter every 6 months. (The soft water filter is less able to remove fluoride).

If you notice a reduction in the flow rate leading up to the required filter change date, it is possible to remove the filter and clean the ceramic membrane using the cleansing sheet included. This will remove sediment accumulated from the filtration process to restore the water flow. 

The AlkaStream can be easily fitted after existing RO system and can also be fitted under the sink if required. Please ask for more details on RO compatibility and under sink kit availability.
